Helping children, teenagers, young adults and parents create meaningful change through practical strategies, emotional support and brain-based techniques.
Every person and family has a unique story, which is why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
As a Solution Focused Therapist, I work collaboratively with clients to understand what's happening, identify meaningful goals, and create practical strategies that support lasting change.
Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, emotional regulation, confidence, motivation, family relationships or life transitions, each session is tailored to your individual needs.
Why My Approach Is Different
Practical and Action-Oriented
While it's important to talk through challenges and feel heard, therapy is about more than talking about problems.
My approach focuses on understanding what's causing the challenge, setting clear goals, and developing practical strategies that create change. Together, we build new skills, implement solutions, and take action between sessions.
Tailored to You
Every person and family is different, so therapy should be too.
Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, emotional regulation, confidence, motivation, behavioural concerns, or family challenges, sessions are tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Focused on Results
My goal isn't for you to be in therapy forever.
I want to help you develop the understanding, skills, and confidence to manage challenges independently. While every situation is different, many clients notice positive changes within 2–3 sessions.
Understanding Creates Change
I believe it's important to understand what's happening, not just what to do about it.
My sessions are educational, helping you understand what is happening mentally and physically and why certain thoughts, emotions, and behaviours occur. You'll leave with practical tools and strategies, along with a clear understanding of how they can help.
Parents Are Part of the Process
When working with children and teenagers, parents are often an important part of creating change.
For older children and teenagers, I keep parents updated with information about the goals, tools, and strategies being worked on in sessions. Many parents tell me that in previous therapy experiences they had little understanding of what was happening or whether progress was being made.
For younger children, or when a child is unwilling to engage in therapy, I often work directly with parents. By helping parents understand what is driving their child's behaviour and providing practical strategies to use at home, positive change can often occur without the child attending therapy themselves.
Therapies & Techniques
I combine insights from neuroscience with a range of evidence based and integrative modalities, including:
✔ Brain & Mental Health Coaching
✔ Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
✔ Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
✔ Strategic Family Intervention
This blended approach allows me to tailor each session to your needs.
